2. What the calculators do

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Start and end times, break lengths, hourly rates and the resulting totals are never transmitted to our servers, and we never see them. Printing, the CSV download and “Copy summary” are all produced locally on your device as well.

3. Local storage

So that your time card is still there when you come back, the entries and settings are saved in your browser’s localStorage under keys beginning with timeclockcalc.. This is not a cookie, it is not transmitted with requests, and it stays on your device. You can delete it at any time with the “Clear” button or by clearing site data in your browser.

4. Server log files

The site is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). When a page is requested, the server processes technical data such as the IP address, the requested URL, the referring page, the browser and operating system and the time of the request. This is necessary to deliver the site and to defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functional website). These records are deleted after a short retention period.

5. Analytics and advertising

This site currently runs no analytics, no advertising network, no A/B testing tool and no embedded third-party widgets. There is therefore no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to beyond what is technically necessary. If cookieless, self-hosted analytics is added later, this section will be updated before it goes live.

6. Fonts and other assets

Web fonts are bundled with the site and served from our own domain. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts or any other third-party asset host while you use this site.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we do not operate user accounts and do not receive your calculator entries, requests will usually concern server log data only. Write to hallo@headon.pro.

8. Children

This site is a general-purpose calculator aimed at working adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
